The Vernon Racing Canoe Club would like to welcome all paddlers to the first race of the Okanagan Regional Small Boat Series on scenic Kalamalka Lake. The race will be held on

Saturday June 20th from the Kekuli Campground and boat launch.

We would like to welcome any type of small boats – outrigger canoes, surf skis, kayaks, rowing shells, marathon canoes.....the list is endless! The race course is approximately 10 km long and the conditions have varied over the past few years – everything from calm to very windy and choppy.

Paddlers must be CORA members and day memberships will be available that day.

VRCC’s website is under construction, so I can be contacted by email for more information. Some details will be decided very soon such as cost (it will be cheap) and times of the races. We will do women and then men and mixed, but if we can do one heat, we will. Please email me if you know that you will be participating or if you have questions. Hope to see you on Kalamalka Lake June 20th ! And spread the word to your team mates and anyone else you know who paddles !
